
The Outdoor Adventure Club (ODAC) is a new CCA that has started recruiting members in January 2010. The Objectives of setting up the ODAC are:
Through outdoor education students will:
• gain a greater awareness of self concept and personal mastery, whilst fostering friendships for life
• revel in team learning and learn to Serve others
• develop leadership skills to Lead by example
• build confidence and resilience to overcome personal challenges and Excel in all endeavors
- A strong mind ready to tackle mental and emotional adversity
- A healthy body ready to tackle the physical strains
- A positive attitude ready for anything
Among the activities planned for ODAC members include Campcraft skills such as tent pitching, field cooking, orienteering and first aid, Ropework skills and various land and water expeditions. Members will also be put through several nationally recognized certifications which include the 1 Star and 2 Star Kayaking, Level 1 Sports Climbing and Standard First Aid.
Members will also be taking part in outdoor adventure based competitions such as the National Schools Sport Climbing Championships organized by the Singapore Mountaineering Federation.

• National Schools Sport Climbing Championships 2010 organized by the SingaporeMountaineering Federation in April 2010
