The Greendale Dance was started in 2008 under the professional guidance of the Dance instructor Ms. Wang. The members trained conscientiously and made their debut at the School’s official opening in July 2008. They then went on to clinch the Bronze award at SYF Dance Competition in 2009.
2010 saw a new dawn for the Dance Club with a new name and new instructors, no one but two. Known as the Movement and Dance Club, under the leadership of Mr. Benedict Soh Kian Leng and Miss Liz Fong Huey Jun, the club aspires to scale greater heights.
It aims to expose the students to a wide and rich array of dance forms while focusing on Modern Dance Techniques.
It is our belief that the rigorous training that the students receive will imbue in them the school values while helping to foster team spirit amongst them. It will also develop their character and hone their leadership skills.
The club aspires to mould the members into individuals who will strive for excellence in anything and everything they do so that they will grow up to be useful members of our society.
