41 Red Cross Youth Cadet Units were competing for the honors of being recognised as the best unit in their districts in the area of foot-drill during 2007 National Foot-Drill Competition held at Evergreen Secondary School on Saturday, 3 Februrary 2007.

The forty-one units were judged on how well theynadhere to the Red Cross uniform guidelines and also on how well they performed their standard foot-drills. The confidence and image projected by each unit and their team spirit were among the factors which decided the outcome of the competition
